SET UP THE CONFLICT
We also thought about using the intro to set up the central conflict or plot of the movie. This could involve introducing the antagonist, hinting at upcoming challenges, or foreshadowing events to come.
INTRODUCE THE MAIN CHARACHTERS
One good thing that you can do is introduce the main characters in a memorable way that gives viewers insight into who they are and what they're like. This could involve showing them in action or revealing key aspects of their personalities.
ESTABLISHING THE SETTING
You can use the intro to establish the setting of the movie. This could involve showing the time period, location, or any other relevant context that helps viewers understand the world of the film.
IDEAS FOR FUTURE INTROS
Even though we tried to keep all things in mind we couldn't add in all of the ideas that we had consider, nevertheless I'm still going to talk about some key points that my group and I thought of while making the intro.
CREATE A HOOK
We included starting with a hook that grabs the audience's attention right away, like a dramatic moment, or a visually stunning sequence that leaves viewers wanting more.
KEY ELEMENTS
For this one we decided to think about the key elements of the movie that we wanted to introduce in the opening sequence.
Even though we didn't quite use any important characters or settings, we choose a type of theme or vibe that will be explored throughout the film.
Understand the Theme and Tone
We had to consider the genre and overall theme of the movie. Like ours was psychological thriller we had to determine the tone that we wanted to establish in the intro. Some examples could be how a horror movie might start with suspenseful imagery, while a comedy might begin with humor and lighthearted one.
INTRO IDEA FOR OUR FILM
To grab the audience's interest and establish the mood of the picture, a captivating movie opening is important. In bullet points, I'm going to be explaining how my team and I figure out a good intro idea for our film and what steps did we have to make and try to achieve as well as key points that we found crucial to making a pleasant intro.
SECOND ROUGH RAFT FILM
This second draft had more things that we wanted to add and change about the first one, also we were in the right clothes, making this one a better looking one.
FIRST ROUGH DRAFT OF OUR FILM
Our reasoning to do behind the scenes was not only for entertaining purposes but to elaborate how working behind the scenes creates the groundwork for success, guarantees effectiveness and quality, encourages creativity and teamwork, gets ready for the unexpected, and establishes credibility and trust within the film, the people inside the film, and the audience.
