My group had some brainstorming sessions where everyone in the group contributed ideas, these sessions can be structured or informal, allowing for more free creativity, as ideas are tossed around, we identified common interests or themes that resonated with everyone in the group. Some of the topics that my teammates were passionate about were, societal issues that we might've wanted to discuss, or genres that we enjoy.
After narrowing down potential themes, we conducted research to gather more information and inspiration, we watched films, try to study real-life events, and analyzed trends in popular culture.
Eventually, we reached an agreement on the theme that felt right for our movie that we wanted to create. This involved compromises and adjustments to accommodate different perspectives within the group.
Once we choose on a theme, we worked to define it clearly. This involves stating the central idea or message that the movie conveys and ensuring that all aspects of the story align with the theme.
